To add on to this comment... Bones Reds are a great bearing for their price: [LINK] Here's a quick video on how to remove bearings from a wheel: [VIDEO] And here's a quick video on how to put the new ones in: [VIDEO]
Use your mounted truck axle. Install them by pushing them in using the skateboard itself. [VIDEO]
Building a board is pretty easy, the hardest part is gripping [VIDEO] the board. Assembling the rest is pretty easy, you just bolt the trucks on [VIDEO] with the hardware. Use your trucks to install bearings [VIDEO] and then bolt the wheels on. You'll need a skate tool [LINK] somewhere down the line to adjust your trucks anyways. You can assemble the board with this alone (and a razor / screwdriver for grip). I recom
This How to Install Bearings video may help [VIDEO] Bearings can be cleaned, but it’s a big hassle. The video will walk you though it all, and you’ll only really need a skate tool (or appropriate socket) and your trucks.
I'm pretty sure those wheels are crooked though. Did you apply body weight when installing the bearings? [VIDEO] If the guy at the skate shop did it then it could still be wrong. Sorry to be a downer and it might just be the camera lens angle, I'm just watching out for you fellow skater bro Congrats, that setup looks awesome otherwise
Put the bearing on the axle/truck with your deck on its side, (having the trucks on the deck makes it easier I think for pushing down) use the heels of your palms to push down really hard and once it “seats” just give it a few more good pushes using your body weight, here is a handy video if needed to help. 🤙 [VIDEO]
Re question no.2, you’ll need two packs of bearings as you load two per wheel, not just one. That’s why they come in packs of eight. See here how to install. [VIDEO]
You are using some physics and not just trying to shove them in with your thumbs right? [VIDEO]
