I couldn't find any info on the bearings, but you can use this method [VIDEO] to check for yourself. In the video, he says to rock The wheel back and forth to get the bearing out, bit I find it easier to spin the wheel just a little bit each time you pry. So rotate, pry, rotate, pry, and keep doing this until it comes out. Spacers aren't needed but I highly recommend them.
