“What’s your truck and board setup? With those sizes, I’m going to guess you’ll need risers, but you should be able to swap the bearings easily into the new wheels. this is what i used to switch my bearings [VIDEO]”

[LINK] Something like this is good for kids who may or may not stick with it. Cheap, decently reviewed, decent deck concavity (the shape of the deck, a medium concavity like this is good for tricks without loosing too much control.) One thing you may want to change though is the bearings in the wheels. A common standard for "good but cheap" are the bones redz ( [LINK] ) Youtube has many videos that can teach you how to change bearings pretty easily ( [VIDEO] for example.) Keep in mind however that this setup will need to be replaced if she wants to get into anything more complex. If you want to help her get set up with a good board that costs a little more you can head to a local skate shop and the folks there will help you build one within your budget. This cheap setup will work for basics and learning pretty easily however.
