This goes over basically everything you'd need to know. [VIDEO]
I recommend all skaters invest in a soft metal bristled scrub brush and grip gum. [VIDEO]
before rubbing grip cleaner, you can scrub with a wire brush in little sections, occasionally dipping it in some water. use a blow dryer to dry the water, then scrub with grip cleaner. WHATEVER YOU DO, ***DO NOT*** **POUR WATER DIRECTLY ON THE GRIP,** IT WILL RESULT IN A WATERLOGGED BOARD i also found this tutorial really helpful: [VIDEO]
You can buy a piece of grip gum. Check this video out, teaches you how to clean it: [VIDEO] Personally I don't care if my grip has a bit of dirt on it, but still grips, it's not that big of a deal to me. My grip is pretty dirty haha. As long as I'm not losing grip where I need it, I'm fine.
I know they make a product for it, but if im not mistaken you can use a rubber eraser too? might want to look into that. edit: found this video [VIDEO]
This is from a YouTube channel called Rat Vision. A lot of informative videos, check out the channel, you won't be sorry, let me know what you think. Here is a link to one video he did on how to clean grip tape: Cleaning grip tape [VIDEO]

> At nearly any art supply store you can find small pieces of rubber for about $2 that is called "rubber cement pick-up" or "crepe rubber". Or you could try a soft brass wire brush Source: [VIDEO]
