Why skaters like it

Gets linked in r/NewSkaters whenever someone has balance problems or can't get outside. Cheap, easy home practice for new skaters.

Fuck yeah. That's what I want to hear! If ya need some thoughts and resources on skating while overweight feel free to DM me and I'll link ya to some good videos that helped me out. I'm actually gonna make some videos down the road talking about how I strengthened my legs to support my knees so I can skate for longer without hurting. I just know I wanna skate til I'm old so I'm taking the initiative now. Edit: Alrigh

Honestly it is all about balance and time spent on the board. I would recommend to any new skater to just get a board and start cruising around. If that is hard get a board and a bottle and make a balance board. [VIDEO] The more time you spend balancing and learning to cruise the easier everything will be. Also just go to a park and just learn basics like pushing fast, pivoting your front foot from a riding position

started using a balance board indoors since it's wet season here in the pacific north west... just a truckless board with a 2L bottle to roll back and forth. [VIDEO] wondering if anyone has used something similar, and if they actually help at all?

I haven't started skating yet (first board still coming in the mail), but I saw this and was wondering if this is really useful. Might give it a go if my balance is shit as well xD [VIDEO]

Aw damn. I'm half Filipina, used to live there. I know that even where there are lots of roads and sidewalks they can be majorly screwed up, hard to even walk on! Where do you live? I live in London now, in an old part with bumpy sidewalks. Sometimes when I don't have time to get to a park, I make do with small stretches of sidewalk. Very very small. I just go up and down constantly to practice pushing faster, balanc
