[VIDEO] [VIDEO] [VIDEO] [VIDEO] [VIDEO] [VIDEO] [VIDEO] No need to get defensive lol. I just linked you a few vids from people who can heelflip but can also teach how to heelflip. These tutorials go over foot positioning, flick, landing etc. so you posting 20 pictures with your feet probably won't help as much as you think. I mean the idea is what matters but you are just coming off as rude and as a person who thinks that their opinion is superior. I flick my heelflip completely differently and they flick nice and high. I learned 90% of my basics by watching youtube, and I think most people will. I appreciate that you are trying to help new skaters but I feel like this ain't it chief

and that is the bane of heels. i actually looked up a youtube vid to see what others do. [VIDEO]. it refreshed my memory and within 10 or so attempts, i was at least keeping them underneath me 50% of the time. don't know if it will help you, we all learn differently, but you never know.

Watching other people flipping to pick up the foot placement and the proper movement helps a lot. Many skaters say that a 45 degree angle toe drag, off the side of the nose at the peak of the ollie, works best. Helpful tips, in slow motion - [VIDEO] Heel - [VIDEO]

You shouldn't actually use your heel at all on a heelflip, you use the ball of your foot to flick off the toe side of the board, that's what gets it to flip. Watch the slow mo here: [VIDEO] See how it's the ball of his foot contacting the toeside corner that gets the flip? That's what you want. As some other skater on reddit said: > Ball-of-the-foot-flip just doesn't have the same ring to it.

Your tail foot pushing towards your toes. Like a frontside shove it, but not too much, you just want to keep the board straight. This video explains it very well, focus on the tail foot position: [VIDEO]

This is pretty easy to fix. Move your back foot more to the heel side of the tail. That kind of balances out the spin. This is where I learned that. [VIDEO]
