Sure thing! The first half of the motion looks great! Your board is going in front of you because you're not jumping forward with it. If you stayed over it, it would level out. Your front foot is sliding just fine. One thing that might help since you're using skater trainers, is to try and purposefully do small, low ollies [VIDEO]. Try and focus on landing front trucks first, like a see-saw motion [VIDEO]. It's an exaggeration of the motion but I think it'll help you gain better insight. Learn how to control them low and start to gradually scale them up. Skate tricks are surprisingly delicate motions so it's all about learning the timing of things. You got this!

Actually I think this video has really outlined most of my problems. [VIDEO] Props to John Hill for really outlining some key major issues in doing an ollie specifically. I'm basically just trying to emulate good skaters so that I can just copy what they do and then just apply it to when I go to do an Ollie. I don't know how to transform it from my head down to my feet though if that makes sense or why it's not all clicking for some reason. I'm literally squatting, popping, sliding, and landing. I swear there is more to it that someone is not telling me though. Although in the video the # 3 issue is a big problem that I have which is that my back foot seems to be leaving the board too much and I'm not leveling my ollies out enough. I don't understand this. I don't know what I could mentally do in my head more to compensate for this. Also, I feel like I only have a very small window to really critique anything that I do once I pop an ollie in the 2-3 second span that I'm actually in motion doing an ollie if that makes sense. In my head I'm thinking, "Okay, keep body straight, pop, and slide your foot up up the board and push forward so that you level your ollie out and land." For …
