How long are you practicing the ollie? Cuz if you´re only trying it for a few days it´s normal that it´s not working the way you wan´t it. Very for the ollie is the timing. First you have to squat down a bit then you have to get up again and simultaneously pop the tail down and slide your front foot up. And you really have to jump as you get up and pop the board. So you pop the board ( get up at the same time) and silde your foot up the nose. The board will follow you. I know my explaination is very bad so here´s a video that helped my very much [VIDEO] the last tip I could give you is to watch good skaters ollie in slow mo and analyze every step the do Im learning the ollie too right now and when your muscles finnaly get the timing down your ollie will get better and better I hope I could help you a bit
