Yes I do and that is a bad argument, indeed most people take off their pads and helmets but these are for acute falls, life threatening potential that is always there, you’re on a board with wheels, to think you have full control of what happens even if you are skating within your abilities is kinda naive. A pebble can fuck up your entire day. Landing and having the board slip out on a small bank could get you killed

To each his own i wont preach, but helmet could literally save your life. I know when I was younger I never thought of the consequences riding without a helmet. Broken bones will heal, one slam to the head could land you in a wheel chair for life.See if you can find a more comfortable helmet that fits right. Warning this is sad story but on topic. [VIDEO]

Yeah dude go check out /r/longboarding There is a reason every downhill rider there wears helmets at a minimum. Shit can get deadly real fast picking up speed, kinda like riding vert. Helmets may not be popular, but they can save you from a fate like this. [VIDEO] Stay safe my dude.

Find some reels, shorts, vids of people having accidents on skateboards without helmets and you'll see the comments are all setting the person on fire for not wearing a helmet. Pro-skater stresses the importance of wearing a helmet [VIDEO]

If he's afraid of what his friends are going to say about a helmet and getting his feelings hurt, what's going to happen when he actually hits his head or suffers any other injury skateboarding? If his skin is that thin he'll fold immediately, and all the skate stuff will quietly get parked in the corner of the garage. Does he want to skateboard or does he want to wear a skateboard themed fortnite skin to school? All
