This [VIDEO] list covers the must-know fundamentals. There are some easy trick [VIDEO] videos as well if you want to just learn some 'circus tricks' to goof around with & have fun... The 'braille' order of Ollie, FS 180, BS 180, Shuv, FS Shuv, Kickflip, Heelflip is alright, but I think learning those tricks fakie is important as well (fakie ollie etc.). I found Half-Cabs easier than BS 180, since it's the same motion

Man it's a plank of wood with wheels screwed onto it, it's as manual of an object as you can get, theres no easy way, there's no cheat codes. You seem to have natural talent, you just need to hone it. There are also a lot of pre-ollie tricks and things that you can do to familiarize yourself with being on and off your board in different ways. I highly recommend watching these videos and pick and choose what you like

[VIDEO] and [VIDEO] follow that link. Watch VLSkate's videos and Skateboard Bruh's videos. They will give you easy tricks that do not require the ollie. Another tip: skateparks are actually amazing for people who are just starting out. Why? B

This is how a kid quits skateboarding. The frustration is palpable. Why do kids think learning to ollie is step one? I’ve been skating for 35 years and I’ve seen it over and over. He is not even close to ready to begin starting to imagine an ollie. I didn’t even attempt an ollie until I had more than a year of skating under my belt. Master all of this first. VLSkate breaks it down... [VIDEO] [VIDEO] [VIDEO] Edit: Exp

- Fakie shuvits (never tried but I hear they’re easy) - Rolling off a curb or ledge (just do a small manual when you reach the end, like a kick turn) - Dropping in (not very easy at first, they’re very scary, but once you drop in for the first time, it’s amazing - videos by vlskate, one of the best skating channels out there [VIDEO] [VIDEO] [VIDEO] [VIDEO]
