its good and its got so much better over the past few years. Skateboarding has really become embracing and accepting towards gay and trans skaters. Jeff Grosso's Loveletters to Skating LGBT episode is my favourite loveletter he ever did and it always makes me a bit emotional watching it. [VIDEO] Recently explicitly queer skate companies have been formed, such as There and Unity. [VIDEO] Def worth checking out for a sense of solidarity and the knowledge you're not the only trans person out there doing it. I don't know where you're based, but in the UK queerskate groups have been forming in different cities. If you're in a city try searching queerskate(yourcity) in instagram and see if there's a group you can attend. Or if there isn't an active group see if there are skaters you can reach out to so you don't have to be afraid skating alone. I can't tell you how trans people fare at skateparks because i'm not trans. It probably depends on the park and whos there when you go to skate. Definitely trying to find community will help build your confidence and i reckon if there are trans skaters/lgbt skaters in your area they will be open to skating with you.
