Why skaters like it

Beginners get linked this when stuck on kickflips. Comments point to how his front foot keeps going out past the nose and up, not down.

“You've got to keep your front foot going out past the nose and continue to go up. Your front foot needs to always be above the board. Compare your video to this”

I agree with Lizard King. Watching his how-to [VIDEO] was inspiring if not informative. * Brendon Westgate - [VIDEO] * Andrew Reynolds - [VIDEO]

Hey. I didn't actually see your last post, how did the ollies go? Seems to me like you almost have it down and you just need to commit to landing with both feet on the board. Nah it's not a lateflip, it's just a mobbed kickflip. Only an L. I had this issue for a really long time, you seriously have to focus on sliding your foot all the way out. You'll know for sure when you're doing it right because it feels way different and MUCH better. The 2 most important things for kickflips (and a lot of tricks tbh) is focusing on the flick only or the jump only. Practice sliding your foot all the w

Gotta bring your back foot all the way up to just about the same height as your front foot. When you catch the kickflip, it should be your back foot catching the board first. Here's a good example to see what your feet should be doing [VIDEO]

[VIDEO] this slow mo of Andrew Reynolds seems to have pretty much the same foot positioning I have with the exception of that he seems to level the board and then make contact with his front foot first which i assume keeps the tail from popping. When you catch the flip are you seeing it happen or is it something you do by feel like boning an ollie?
