What helped me for shove it is that I keep my front foot over the whole board. Also, i scooped was too hard with my backfoot aswell. Maybe try a little bit less force with your back foot and combine it with the thing i said about the front foot. Here is an example what i mean with the front foot: [VIDEO] Check 2:18 ish

No problem, hope it helps some. Yeah I really struggle learning new tricks, each one is a battle ahaha. Ollies took me forever too, but it just makes it that much better when you finally land it! Don’t put so much pressure on yourself, it takes some time falling off the board looking silly, but you will get these tricks down eventually for sure! It helps me a lot when I’m struggling to take a step back and try and focus on the little bits of the trick I’m doing right. If you can break the trick down into parts, you can learn it a bit faster and it isn’t as challenging. Each time I try a new attempt I try to be aware of how my body is positioned and how I move so that the next time I try I can it, I can repeat what worked well, and tweak what I failed. Keep up the good work! Edit here are a couple videos that helped me put it together: Common shuv mistakes explained [VIDEO] Braille Skateboarding has some good shuv tutorials too

I know it sounds weird, but kick your tail foot forward like straight out to 12 o'clock while scooping to your right ever so slightly. This keeps you going straight instead of having to jump like a foot to your right to land. Best advice I ever got on shuvs. This guy explained it best and I got it pretty quick- [VIDEO]

[VIDEO] - this should help ya out! as someone said above, try them rolling and with your back foot push the board diagonally forward ( to avoid the board going sideways )
