Linked in r/NewSkaters when people ask about kickflip alternatives or what an ollie late flip is. One commenter calls it much easier than a regular kickflip.

“All you need to do is pull off a semi-high ollie, with a view to land on the bolts.”

one to try which I've found really easy compared to most are 'late backfooted kickflips' [VIDEO]. All you need to do is pull off a semi-high ollie, with a view to land on the bolts. Once you have straightened in the air, do a BS shove movement with your back foot and the board magically kickflips to the floor, the trick is making a light movement so you can get your back foot back into position to land on the board.

Ollie late flips exist, instead of flicking in one fluid motion to kickflip, you ollie, then flick for the kickflip. The ollie backfoot late flip is more popular than frontfoot, though: * [VIDEO] * [VIDEO] * [VIDEO] * [VIDEO] * etc. Here's one done front foot: * [VIDEO]
