First, foot position: Put the *ball* of your back foot in the middle of your tail, your toe should be behind the rail edge of your tail. Your front foot is in an ok spot, but you should have your toe further back, not hanging over the edge so much. Try and make your toes parallel with the rail, or even a little further back. This is your main issue: after you hit your tail with your back foot, you’re just pushing the

I'm not even close to consistent with my ollies yet, so take this with a grain of salt. But I think this is the issue: [LINK] You're pinning the board to the ground with your back foot. Take a look at this Ollie slow-mo from Braille [VIDEO] It's more of just an ankle flick, his toes never touch the ground. Hope this helps!

Have you seen the braille "How to Ollie [VIDEO]" video? He breaks it down step by step. It looks like your front foot is too far forward. Try moving it closer the back center of the board. You are also pushing down on your tail, but never trying to jump. You may want to also try to record the video or playback in slow motion. It will _really_ help so you can see what is happening. Don't give up! You can do this! Skat

You're not committing to landing back on the board. I see 3 things you're doing good:-- You're sort of dragging your foot up- You're popping the heel- you're jumping but you can jump higher You don't seem to know what to do with your body after jumping ,When your front foot comes up to the nose of your board that is where your body should be moving too, think about if you're moving while doing an ollie you're jumping

Start falling and you’ll get over the fear. The unknown and imagined injury is typically worse than the actual pain of a fall. Ollies take practice and quick reflexes for the timing. Work on your skills in general and it will come... just don’t give up. Some tips... [VIDEO]

May get some flack for this, but braille skateboarding has a video about Ollie's. Slow motion video and all. [VIDEO] Maybe this can help too!

Watch this. [VIDEO] But yeah, just get comfy riding, don't go near ollies until you're super comfortable riding your board fast.
