Braille Skateboarding tutorial from 2014 that explains how an inward heelflip differs from a pressure flip. It covers foot work and board rotation for each trick.

Why skaters like it

Gets linked when someone asks what to call a trick where the back foot flips the board, and to sort out inward heelflip versus pressure flip.

“your board is doing a backside shuvit with a heelflip rotation so like an inward heelflip but since it's just your back foot doing the work it's considered a pressure flip.”

That looks to be a type of pressure flip. your board is doing a backside shuvit with a heelflip rotation so like an inward heelflip but since it's just your back foot doing the work it's considered a pressure flip. [VIDEO] and a tre flip is the exact same thing you're doing now except the board does a full 360 spin with the flip. honestly with how close you are i'd say just scoop even harder and go for that tre flip.

I worked at Sea world in the early 90's skating the City Streets show with Primo Desiderio and Diane, where I first heard Primo call that trick a barrel roll, I knew front and backside pressure flips but my trucks were to loose to make it flip over, he said it's an old trick from the 70's. Note; When a board turns off the tail when pushed under "Classic Pressure flip" ( [VIDEO]) The Heel never flips the board. [VIDEO
