YouTube: Skate Park Lessons good, Braille bad. Check out SPL's first timer guide: [VIDEO]. Tricks: Hippy jumps before ollies! If you can't hippy jump well, you can't ollie. Protection: Wrist guards will help first, helmet if what you are doing involves speed or height. Good, chunky knee pads with decent straps to get knee slides, especially if you want to skate transition. Balance: You don't need balance to stay on.
