Something that used to work for me, because I'm old and my skateboarding started before the internet was widespread, was to study the body position of pros doing tricks I wanted to learn and to then concentrate on mimicking that position mid trick. have you tried going to the grab (frontside back hand) and then kicking the nose a bit with your front foot. The grab will allow you to push it forward straighten your front leg and still throw it back under you using your hand to get the board back centered under you. then when you get those locked try it without the grab.
