Sean Malto rides a cheap toy-store complete from Target or Walmart for The Berrics' consumer report series in 2018. He still lands tricks on it, but the video makes the case for buying from a skate shop.
Why skaters like it
Posted in r/NewSkaters whenever a beginner asks about Walmart or Target boards. Shows what a pro can do on one and why a real complete is still the better buy.
“Never tried one before but here's sean malto kickflipping a 7 stair on one. …”

Yes, there is a really big difference. The types of stuff you get at a place like walmart are made very cheaply. They cut corners on every component so they can have a low price and a large profit margin. They are basically crappy toys that I wish didn't even exist. The decks will easily snap and the trucks will bend. [VIDEO] [VIDEO]
