Skate IQ short that breaks the ollie into a quick progression: hippie jumps, pushing the tail down, then popping. Aimed at new skaters who cannot get off the ground yet.

Why skaters like it

Posted in r/NewSkaters whenever someone asks how to ollie. Skaters say the hippie jump progression works faster than pop and slide.

“Do the Ollie profession from skate iq. It helped me get started and land my Ollie relatively quickly I'd say. Baby ollie So hippie jumps. Jumps where you push the tail down.”

Do the Ollie profession from skate iq. It helped me get started and land my Ollie relatively quickly I’d say. Baby ollie So hippie jumps. Jumps where you push the tail down. Push tail down and pop. Then you’re basically at an Ollie. [VIDEO] Here’s the video. There’s a longer progression video with more details.
