I hate to bear bad news. Though you've convinced yourself that you are flicking fine, you're not! Watch your front foot carefully, you do bring it up, but then drop it to the ground with force, which is how you are getting the board to flip. If your front foot ever goes *below* the board on a kickflip, it's over, you can't land it. You won't be able to learn to kickflip this way. Instead, you need to bring your front foot up and out over the nose, so that it hangs up in the air above the board. You want to see the board flip below you, check out Skateboard Bruh's POV video and compare it to what you see when you kickflip. Pay attention to how his front foot hangs in the air above and in front of the board. [VIDEO] For the backfoot, this will come naturally if you fix your front foot problems. You'll have to jump and float with both feet to get the front foot motion correct, and then since you are holding your front foot over the board, you will naturally also do so with your back foot with some effort. I'd suggest focusing your practice on getting just your front foot on the board after the kickflip.
