What does the front foot do in Treflip?

whythetrick cuts away the part of a deck around the front foot to show a tre flip still flips with no front foot flick. 3D models back it up by showing how the board rotates from the back foot scoop alone.

Why skaters like it

Linked in tre flip threads when people argue over whether the front foot flicks. It tests the claim with a cut deck and 3D models instead of opinion.

“… a lot of people say you can do them without the front foot at all. idk it's confusing …”

I can kickflip pretty consistently even after a 15y break somehow 😂 But I'm trying to get the back foot scoop on point, most people claim it's all in the back foot. [VIDEO]
