A 54 second Skate IQ short on kickflip basics, aimed at skaters who are learning to flick and want to know what to fix before they keep trying.

Why skaters like it

Linked in r/NewSkaters threads when beginners ask about front foot control and flick. Short, clear, and the channel has more kickflip drills.

Check these shorts from skateIQ. I prefer to let him explain as I’m new, but it looks pretty clear how applicable these shorts are with your flick muscle memory. Modern kickflip flick: [VIDEO] Helpful drills, on the way toward a make: [VIDEO] [VIDEO] Also wanted to say I’ve seen people make kickflips while flicking down (more old school style), but the downwards flick is smaller and more subtle so they can get the front foot back on top. If I were you I’d try the modern technique though, there’s a reason it’s the standard today.
