Everyone recommends SkateIq and he is great!! But also I'd recommend to check videos by Sarah Park-Malott and for example this one on the topic you ask: [VIDEO] Her videos somehow make me really committed to getting better because she's super calm and understanding of everyone's differences

[VIDEO] I saw this video pop up a few days back, and it was interesting because some of the things she suggests is exactly what helped me to skate switch. I was really frustrated last year because I would lose balance if I try to push switch hard, but especially the first one she shows, standing on the board with one leg, really pushed me over the hump. Let me say tho I was swinging the free leg around in all directions to really throw the weight around and develop that balance, as just standing will get easy pretty quick.

At 300, it is important to get name brand gear, because you are going to put more stress on your stuff compared to average skaters. Fall protection is necessary also, and being bigger makes it more difficult to find good fitting stuff. However, you can do it. Here is a good set of exercises you can do. The first you can even do on carpet, but it helps a lot. [VIDEO]

I've had similar struggles myself but weather and work has kept me away from more practice. There's a ton of videos on YouTube but in case you haven't seen these, here are some I saved for myself with some techniques that looked really good to help get over the hump. A lot of mine is mental too. Hope they help you. [VIDEO] [VIDEO] [VIDEO]
