Recommended in r/NewSkaters when people ask about jolty pushing or what to practice at home, and the channel is named as a good source for pushing tutorials.

Tic tacs!! These are my main trick and they’ve been super helpful for getting a bit used to my board and managing my balance, plus it’s super fun to do! Working on your pushing too also helps a lot. “Skating with Aaron” on YouTube has some amazing tutorials for pushing and tic tacs! Here’s the tic tac videos from him [VIDEO] [VIDEO] And here’s the pushing video from him as well [VIDEO] I hope you find this helpful and have fun! Keep skating! :)) 🛹🫶

could be worth doing split squats and other exercises that Kneesovertoesguy(YT, Insta, etc) teaches. really good for joint health and performance in general. Pretty much everyone when they start out will push in a jolty way. can't say for sure without seeing some footage, though. Here is a good video for that, and try to keep as little bodyweight to shift to the pushing foot as you can. [VIDEO]
