Short ollie tutorial from Bittzyy aimed at new skaters. Teaches a different technique that treats the pop as a snap of the tail instead of a jump off the back foot.

Why skaters like it

Gets linked in r/NewSkaters when someone can't get their back foot to lift or levels out badly. Fixes the habit of jumping off the back foot.

“you don't "jump off your back foot" so much as snap the tail with a downwards ankle movement”

I found this video [VIDEO] yesterday explaining that you don't "jump off your back foot" so much as snap the tail with a downwards ankle movement...you seem to have too much weight on your back foot by thinking you have to "jump" off it (of that makes any sense)
