NAKPOP 2 is a 51 second compilation by willfounded of Na-Kel Smith bailing and falling on his board. It shows him staying loose and rolling out of slams.

Why skaters like it

Beginners link it when asking how to fall. Na-Kel stays relaxed and keeps momentum instead of locking up.

“… The trick is not to panic. Instead of locking up, you stay loose and try to maintain momentum.”

Na-Kel Smith [VIDEO] is a prime example of this. The trick is not to panic. Instead of locking up, you stay loose and try to maintain momentum.

I recommend practicing falling using rolling techniques for flat and sliding techniques for Ramps. You can look for videos on falling techniques for skateboarding. If you had tucked and rolled then you would have protected your shoulder. A lot of skateboarding is body control and balance. I would say the same for falling. If you make mistakes, concrete is the least forgiving. Falling doesn't have to be a mistake. Look at parkour as an example of how to handle falling on concrete. Nel-kel is the shit for this [VIDEO]
