Nice! Always so great to get your first drop in. I do have a few pointers for you, though :) Firstly, have you watched a good video on dropping in? The way your doing it seems like you might be making things a bit harder on yourself, though I'm more worried about your strategy when you try to transition to bigger ramps. It looks like you're relying way too much on slamming your leg down hard, and that's not exactly y

What the other comments say but also Slow down. I don’t really recommend hanging out at the top before dropping in because you could psych yourself out a lot but right now you’re not giving yourself a chance to settle onto the board before dropping in. Once you’re settled all of your weight should be on your back foot and when you transfer it to the front, slam the board down and drop in. You have to commit and lean

this really helped me: [VIDEO] but to sum up, drop your front shoulder and slam those front trucks to the ground, and ride it out. start on a small, gently slanted ramp before going to a bowl/quarter pipe type thing. i learned on a 3ft miniramp, lot less daunting than facing down an 8ft drop into a halfpipe

But, before you drop in practice pumping, [VIDEO]. It is 100% required to learn ramps. Start on bowls and ramps before vert for sure. Here is how to drop in - [VIDEO]

[VIDEO] This is a good one and like the person said in the above comments that reaching for the board is a good technique at the beginning.

**That's** for when you advance. I haven't been there yet or chance to go to skatepark to advance. Here's iniciative steps towards *that* Down a street that levels down gradually technically should be the initiation to that though. Foot always ready to rush step next to hind wheels as many times as necessary to slow down or stop your board or rush outrun board to not fall off *which I do* **That would be next step**
