Check out Powell Peralta's Flight Deck. It's a carbon fiber and wood hybrid. Very well made, very light, doesn't break, and always retains it's pop. Powell is doing some amazing things, including some new wheel formulas like the Dragons which are soft feeling but slide like hard wheels.
