RIDE Channel trick tip from 2012 where James Craig of Blind explains how to do fakie frontside crooked grinds. Short step-by-step lesson from the daily How-To Skateboarding series.

Why skaters like it

Linked in grind naming debates as a reference for what a fakie frontside crook looks like, versus a fakie 5-0 or suski.

“people do call that trick a fakie crooks but will call it a fakie 5-0 if its not crooked.”

thanks dude! I love the discussion because I always see trick confusion here. but to say James Craig is wrong is wild haha [VIDEO] Salad, Suski are just nicknames of 5-0 variations. Not just talking too, i think ive been skating since before the suski grind was coined lol

Im not talking about what i prefer here but rather what i find is common, people do call that trick a fakie crooks but will call it a fakie 5-0 if its not crooked. Doesnt make sense to me but thats what you will see these tricks called most of the time. EDIT: This trick tip [VIDEO] Is an example of the fakie crooks, at around 1:10 he compares them with a fakie 5-0.
