A 26 second short from creator Yung Wavy on how to push a skateboard like a pro. Covers basic pushing form for new skaters, with a beginner setup listed in the description.

Linked in r/NewSkaters when beginners ask about pushing form, balance on the front foot and what to do with the arms. Short enough to rewatch on the board.

“… When pushing your weight should be over your front foot pretty fully so you can swing your pushing foot forward. …”

Practice balancing on one foot! That helps a lot. Here’s a short clip with a demonstration. The comments under the video are really helpful too. One said to try pushing with the tip of your foot instead of the whole foot because doing so with the whole foot can throw you off balance. [VIDEO]

Piggy backing on this, it looks like front foot stability is a little shaky. When pushing your weight should be over your front foot pretty fully so you can swing your pushing foot forward. You don't seem to want to put your weight over your front foot all the way. I'll just shut up and link this because this guy's vid actually says it better than I can: [VIDEO]
