You should take this guy's attitude: [VIDEO] :) Super chill as it's just your stance. Nothing negative either way and the only difference will be how you approach certain tricks or obstacles. ~~Also, maybe you misspoke, but if your friends are pushing with their right foots (unless mongo I guess), they are riding goofy.~~ Mixed up pushing/leading foot my bad. I've always skated goofy as it was most comfortable when I started. Same goes for snowboarding and other similar things. Two of my kids skate regular and one skates goofy. As for should you learn both? Heck yeah! I've recently been purposefully riding my longboard and skateboard in regular to get more comfortable riding and slowly moving into tricks switch. :D

Keep Trying. Do you know if you are Regular or Goofy? [VIDEO] Then check out this guide [VIDEO] That's one of the best imo. As another one already posted, Try loosing the trucks, or try tightening them. Afterwards try to find your Balance while standing, probably on the grass and try to get the feeling, and where to place your feet etc. Then try pushing and keep trying edit: wow, the word "try" is used very often in that text ;)

[VIDEO] this video makes it very straight forward and also i watched lots vlskate and braille for learning tricks. I also really like watching John Hill and Dale Decker but theyre not really as informative but have a lot of fun vlogs and they do a lot of lists of easy tricks. Also Skate Bruh has a lot of fun and informative videos.

I felt the exact same way at first. I've only been skating seriously only for about a week now and going back to mongo already feels awful. The best way I found to help me push regular was walking. Front foot on the board, and other just pushing one step at a time. Once you feel sorta comfortable doing that, try balancing on one leg (your front leg aka the one that you use to push now) while rolling really slowly on my board. I try and see how far I can go rolling on one leg to keep me entertained while practicing my balance. It's always gonna feel really bad/weird at first! Just found this video! [VIDEO] Hopefully it sorta helps.
