I was wondering who would catch that. Everything he said in the beginning still applies, he just didn’t actually do a hardflip Muska style. Fortunately he corrected it in the following video. The internet is an unforgiving task master, haha. Side note: we really need a better name than Illusion Flip. Jonny Giger apologizes for not actually Hardflipping, does a bunch of late flips and then does one proper [VIDEO]

So I sat down and played with my tech deck and watched some more clips and you are right, it’s an illusion flip. Johnny giger explains best here [VIDEO], I take back the idiot thing and proclaim myself the idiot.

I believe it's the same thing johnny Giger called an illusion flip but I'm not completely sure if it's the same rotation. It probably is though [VIDEO]

So here's the issue. If you watch the slow mo of this angle, this is in the muska/illusion flip territory. In the 1st video you posted it was a bs shuv. This one definitely closer to the illusion flip. The line between the two is razor thin. This Johnny Geiger video basically shows the exact issue in talking about. [VIDEO]
