Dan Corrigan shows Blunt Steel portable low rails and flat bars made for learning rail tricks. Pitched at beginners and experienced skaters, with a Braille Army crew in tags.
Why skaters like it
Linked in r/NewSkaters when someone asks how to practice rails. Low height means losing lock-in has little risk, so beginners can learn on round rails safely.

Picked one of these up after a Dan Corrigan youtube video popped up in my feed. This is the "BS Grom Bar 4' Rail" [LINK] and it cost me about $188 shipped. Makes learning to lock in on round rails incredibly risk-free, as you can lose lock and the safety of the ground is right there. In fact, my wheels would ride on the ground when i lost/missed the lock. There is also a 6' version where the bottom of the rail sits 4" off the ground, but still has a bump to ride up onto. All the kids on the court were super interested and took a break from shooting hoops to try riding a skateboard for the first time. As a 27yr old who just came back from a 12 year hiatus, this thing is a great tool to get you riding a lot, and developing general comfort on the board. 6' version in this video [VIDEO]
Blunt Steel [LINK] I'm not sure if this fits what you are looking for, but Dan Corrigan did a video on these Blunt Steel Rails/Flat Bars. [VIDEO]
