Ellis Frost teaches a lazy, low-effort tre flip. He focuses on back foot scoop and a relaxed jump instead of a hard front foot flick.

Why skaters like it

Posted whenever someone struggles with the last half of a tre flip or rolls an ankle forcing 360s. Skaters point to the scoop-first, no-flick approach.

“Tre flip is 100% about your back foot scoop and jump. Best example of this is the Ellis Frost”

Oh no, I am sorry about you’re ankle. I hope you recover quickly. I don’t know if it will help at all but Ellis Frost has a tutorial on those he calls them lazy 360 flips. Maybe of some help or perhaps an easier way. Yeah. Ellis Frost lazy 360 [VIDEO]

[VIDEO] [VIDEO] These two vids I felt like had the most impact. Putting my front foot further back also helped but it's mainly in the back foot with the scoop.

Try hanging your back foot off a lot. It will feel weird at first but it actually really works. Check out this vid this is what I’m talking about: [VIDEO]
