Jonny Giger's 80 second slow motion tre flip from his Slow-Mo Monday series, shot on an iPhone 6 in 2015.

Why skaters like it

Linked in threads about tre flip form, where skaters point to the front foot motion and whether it reads as a pressure flip.

“your front foot comes straight up, instead of going out in a kicking motion, that's what makes it looks like a "pressure" trick.”

i'm going to get downvoted for saying this based off what i'm seeing in the comments already.. but i can understand why this would be considered a "pressure" tre-flip... your front foot comes straight up, instead of going out in a kicking motion, that's what makes it looks like a "pressure" trick. Almost every single pro that does a tre flip, includes a small kick from the front foot still. Jonny Giger's tre flip. [V

The way I do it, the front foot isnt flicking or extending forward through the board. That very often leads to a slip out because I land with my feet close together. I want to do it like this cos it seems way more stable:- [VIDEO] Thing is no matter how I try I cant seem to stop my front foot from curling straight up. Anyone has any tips on timing the front foot flick or some other hack to get my legs to spread out?
