eh, it all depends on the city. here in nyc i am super stoked to be able to smash through the streets on soft wheels because you hit rough patches that would otherwise normally cause you to get off your board and walk on hard wheels. out in san francisco i normally ride hard wheels but after doing that for 6 years you start to appreciate the comforts of steadily cruising and feeling good. it's a whole different vibe and one that everyone should take some time to appreciate in their lives. peep this video by brent atchley and go push around on soft wheels for a day. it's good to switch up skating styles from time to time. Here's one of my favorite vids [VIDEO] of his, just flowin super mellow around one of the best cities on the west coast. His style is so damn smooth and relaxed, one of the things I've always struggled with skating.
