Recommended in DIY threads for angle and build advice, since Ben is both a skater and a carpenter.

No comply, 180s, 360s, kick flip heel flips, 360 flips. What material are you trying to grind? Is it metal, concrete, are you trying to 5050 a dry curb? A lot of behind the scenes work gets done to make a ledge grantable with skate tuck. Often people will rub brick them to make them smooth. Cover them in some kind of acyclic or poly urethane base pain, basically any kind of clear coat. That drys and then they wax the mofo up. If you want to 5050, recommend building a small box that has metal edges. Metal on Metal usually doesnt even need to be waxed on a good day. You dont have to make it 2 feet tall either, feel free to make it curb height, also make it wide enough to practice manuals. If you have a decent curb around you there are tons of videos on YouTube that can explain the process better than I can. But to make a chunky ass ledge in Boston grind you need to make the concrete smooth and then apply some kind of sealant before waxing it. This guy can literally teach how to make your own curb in this video, I cant say ive ever heard bad advice some out of his mouth and he is a registered contractor so he knows how to build shit properly.
