Garrett Ginner works through the nosegrind versus overcrook debate in a parking lot, testing whether they are one trick or two. Posted 2021 as a skate talk piece rather than a tutorial.

Why skaters like it

Gets linked in overcrook versus nosegrind threads as a counterpoint, usually when someone argues they are the same trick or that tweaking a nosegrind changes it.

“Its for sure possible to do it, and I think people should get major props when they do one fully straight over on a street rail.”

Yah and I’ve seen this video before: [VIDEO] Its for sure possible to do it, and I think people should get major props when they do one fully straight over on a street rail. Imagine a perfectly straight nosegrind on a double kinked round rail. But I don’t think when people tweak it it becomes a different trick. Like when someone does a flat blunt slide on a square rail it doesn’t become an “over tailslide”
