Sobreskate setup check for Luan de Oliveira from 2014. Lists his Flip deck, Independent 139 trucks, Flip 52mm wheels, Red Bones bearings, Mob Grip and Nike SB Janoski shoes.

Why skaters like it

Linked in setup threads as proof that a 7.8 deck with Indy 139 trucks works for a top street skater. Also cited when people ask what Luan rides.

Luan skates a completely flat deck with no concave at all. it was discussed in a recent nine club episode, but i cant remember which one but I think maybe the Louis Lopez one. they might have mentioned the size too. edit: i did find this video where he says he skates a 7.8 [VIDEO] but its 4 years old

There is no "proper" one, it's just personal preference which one you go with. If it makes you feel any better about it Luan Olivera prefers 8" trucks (indy 139s) on his 7.8" board [VIDEO] and he's one of the best street skaters on earth on that setup.
