Yeah sounds like you took a rough one, that happens sometimes with skating. Hopefully a few of these bits can help you out: 1. When you're starting out is the most dangerous time in your skate life. Because you don't have lots of board control yet, you don't know what your real limits are, AND you don't know how to fall properly yet. I'd say your plan to just ride around for a while is a good one, and you should do t

That guy from Fancy Lad does a lot of these. Recommend checking out their video, Is This Skateboarding? [VIDEO]. First part of the video features a bunch of wall-flip tricks. EDIT: It's Nick Murray, his part in that video starts at 3:06 [VIDEO]. Best "wall" flips (is there an actual term for these?) are at the end, starting around 6:40 [VIDEO]. Recommend the whole video, too.

Your enthusiasm inspires me. I think you might like Gou Miyagi. He’s been around for a while but if you haven’t checked him out, it’s worth a look. He is not the most technical, but he is one of the most creative, whimsical, cool skaters I know. He probably inspired people like Ritchie Jackson. He also uses cloth instead of griptape, which is nuts. [VIDEO] His Instagram is also filled with cool and absurd stuff. Here
