Of note, normal straight out kickflips are almost impossible to learn on a pre '92 style deck. If you look at the style of most of the skaters who were big in the 80's (Gonz [VIDEO]/Mullen [VIDEO]) you'll notice that they all do mobbed kickflips where they kick backside instead of out towards the nose. with this approach the kickflip is almost always going to be angled in the air and not level out like an ollie. when
