Why skaters like it

Posted as the answer to weird, creative or rule-free skating threads. Skaters call it one of their favourite parts with not a flip trick in sight.

“He does some really weird stuff, some wouldn't consider it skateboarding anymore because he's jumping off his board and back onto it again, wiggles it between his legs etc. Wonderfully creative though.”

I have to agree with you. Mike v has always been one of my favourite skaters because he always went against the trend and stuck his own style. Its a little goofy but I think you would appreciate this [VIDEO]

I've always wanted to try the rubberized grip-tape like safety strips you see on stairs but never have. Go Miyagi glues old t-shirts to his decks and he skates like a goddamn ninja [VIDEO]
