This is the video [VIDEO] I watched before making our mini ramp. There is a wealth of information out there on the web. It’s really quite simple and only requires a few unique steps. Most of the construction is measure, cut, repeat or assembling similar pieces together.

There is only one layer of plywood and thats it. No fancy ramp armors or whatever they are called. More layers of plywood sure would make it a lot stronger but I wanted to keep the budget low. The plywood seems to be cracking a little from some places but luckily I haven't fallen through it yet which probably will happen sooner or later. The height of transition is 120cm. [VIDEO] I would def go 12 feet instead of 8, as they do in this vid. I wouldn't waste the money on skatelite either. Just slap some 3/8" plywood on there, two layers preferrably, and throw some stain or something on there to protect it from weather. You'll have to replace pieces of the top sheet every now and then but who knows how long you plan on skating this thing.

Yea we were planing to put it on cinder blocks, what thickness of plywood do I need to use? Its a PAIN to find 1/2 around my area, I'm pretty much having to scour Craigslist for it. >transition for a 4 foot ramp should be no bigger than 6 feet. This is the video [VIDEO] I'm kinda following. They are doing a 7ft transition, is that to mellow?
