Gotta be moving forward. Its hard to learn them standing still. Most skate tricks are pushing the board forward and catching up to it in the air, especially kickflips. Gotta think of yourself like a ninja, skate fast, jump forward. Trying to learn them standing, youll just be kicking down, which is not the way. Youll land some, but the technicque doesnt work on stairs and gaps. I told my nephews to just put a line of
