i also ride floppy loose trucks. here's what i do to avoid the kingpin nut falling off. 1-ditch the cupwasher on your baseplate-that gives you a couple extra threads on the kingpin. 2- shave down your bushings a little bit by rubbing them on some griptape or semi-rough cement to make them a little shorter, which will also give you a little more kingpin to work with. some dudes cut them down with a razor blade, but i

Entertaining video to watch, but an absolutely pointless practice for 99.9% of skaters. Not only would you never notice the difference, but the balance would be out after about 30 seconds of skating, as all the different moving parts of your setup shift around. You would never see Matt Rodriguez balancing a board :) [VIDEO]

Daewon rides a normal back truck, and two washers instead of a top bushing in his front truck. He talks about it in this Jenkem article [LINK] I ride both of my trucks like that. [LINK] After blowing out my pivot cup a few times, I've maxed out at four washers in each truck. EDIT: /u/grammerbountyhunter this is relevant to you too. I used to ride my Indy's this loose too. I had a long experimental phase. Shaving down

Kinda like daewon song's ones, that you can clearly see rock from one wheel touching the board on one side to the other side several times, when he's like doing smith on tranny ^^ That's incredibly loose, as in no support at all. Though I do think is back truck is kinda tighter than the front one. [edit] Video - In Transition [LINK] Also [Matt Rodriguez] ([VIDEO]) skates with bushings cut in half. Crazy shit right th
