Bails section from Toy Machine's 1996 video Welcome To Hell. Slams from Ed Templeton, Elissa Steamer, Mike Maldonado, Jamie Thomas and others, cut together in one clip.
Why skaters like it
Skaters link it as a classic eat-it section and as slam reference footage. Some remember it as a first skate video they saw, with bails harsher than they realized.
“Toymachine welcome to hell at a party when i was 14/15. I thought it was the coolest damn thing I ever did see.”

What skaters said on Reddit
Toymachine welcome to hell at a party when i was 14/15. I thought it was the coolest damn thing I ever did see. Must have not realised the severity of the infamous bails section [VIDEO] back then
This [VIDEO] classic eat it section from Welcome to Hell will give you a good idea of the mechanics of a slam. You probably want something like the slam at 0:40 or 1:50 or so. Be warned, there are some Bad slams in this vid, and don't click unless you're willing to see a skaters testicles after sacking a rail.
