Hell yeah, my dude! Congrats! And I love your skating--it's actually my favorite type of skating: creative, fun, and makes me want to go skate. Cheers, man! EDIT: So, I promise I'm not trying to make a shitty, inappropriate joke, but have you ever seen Gou Miyagi skate? He rode for Heroin, and his part in "Video Nasty" reminds me of your style: [VIDEO]

It's a form of self expression, everyone has their own take on it and their own way they relate to their board. I would personally say some skaters are more "artful" though. Like there are kids who grow up in skateparks who approach skating like it's a competion. They "train" to get better and at that point it starts to feel more like a sport. Some videos/parts that stand out as being more expressive and artistic. Spirit Quest [VIDEO] is a very creative video Mark Sucius Verso part [VIDEO] was very intentionally made and is a good example. Then you have skaters like Gou Miyagi [VIDEO] who totally bend the idea of how to skateboard. Japan has a cool subculture of creative skateboard videos [VIDEO] , capturing the night culture [VIDEO] of the cities and they frequently have interesting edits and music choices. Tom Knox's atlantic drift part [VIDEO] comes to mind too and of course you would have to mentions Mark Gonzales [VIDEO] in video days. Flowy and creative skating which helped sculpt the direction of modern skateboarding.
