i met daniel gesmer a few years ago ( his video part from an old powell video is here [VIDEO] ), and was ready to totally hate on him. turns out the dude is awesome, he still skates and owns a company making skateboard trucks. he's been skating 30+ years and is still down for it. i really couldn't hate him after chatting with him.
