Cruiser wheels help, reasonable pro/con is here: [VIDEO] Also lift the nose a bit as you go over cracks and look up down/up unweighting. Speed helps a lot here too. Expect relatively small "ledges" where the next sidewalk square is higher to throw you off the board at first. Lots of other threads with advice too. Learn to kick turn and be willing to walk your board for a block if the sidewalk is gnarly or there are too many people to navigate around. Learn to stop quickly without your board shooting out into the road or other people too.
[VIDEO] that should help you decide which one you’d need. From my personal experience I never used All terrain wheels or cruisers always used my 54 MM wheels.
